Open Door Mission

Open Door Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission founded in 1954 committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty. Each day, Open Door Missions’ campus offers 917 safe, shelter beds to people experiencing homelessness, serves over 5,366 nutritious meals to feed the hungry, and provides homeless preventive resources to more than 1,270 people living in poverty to empower them to remain in their own homes.

Siena Francis House

Founded in 1975, Siena Francis House is Nebraska's largest provider of services to individuals experiencing homelessness, and is located in six facilities at 17th & Nicholas Streets in downtown Omaha. While Siena Francis House provides emergency shelter, food and clothing to individuals experiencing homelessness, our ultimate goal is to end homelessness by helping each and every guest achieve housing out in the community. As part of this effort, Siena Francis House also provides Permanent Supportive Housing for formerly homeless, disabled persons on our campus

Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood is the nation’s leading provider and advocate of high-quality, affordable sexual and reproductive health care for all people, as well as the nation’s largest provider of sex education. Planned Parenthood organizations serve all patients with care and compassion, with respect, and without judgment, striving to create equitable access to health care. Through health centers, programs in schools and communities, and online resources, Planned Parenthood is a trusted source of reliable education and information that allows people to make informed health decisions.

Food Bank for the Heartland

Founded in 1981 and headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, Food Bank for the Heartland is a nonprofit organization with a vital focus: to provide food to children, families, seniors, and veterans facing hunger in Nebraska and western Iowa, to ultimately eliminate hunger in our communities, and to serve our neighbors with respect, integrity and urgency. The Food Bank serves 93 counties—77 in Nebraska and 16 in western Iowa.

Together Omaha

Together has been a vital part of the Omaha community since 1975. After the devastating tornado of 1975 that swept across Omaha, the "Together" cooperative was formed by a group of organizations to help people affected by the tornado. The cooperative offers three unique programs, focused on access to housing, healthy food, and making sure those in need are represented in public policy discussions.

Salvation Army

The Salvation Army believes every person is of equal value, we are committed to meeting human needs without discrimination. As a community-centered nonprofit serving nearly every ZIP code in America, our local teams design programs that fit the specific needs of their neighbors.

Community Alliance

An integrated health care organization that offers a whole-person approach, including psychiatric services, mental health and substance use counseling, primary medical care and a range of rehabilitation, employment, and community supports, crisis services, and family and peer support.

City Sprouts Pantry

City Sprouts offers workshops and classes, educational programming, and more to educate the community about gardening and healthy lifestyle choices, as well as providing a publicly available fridge and pantry that is stocked once a day and open 24/7.

Stephen Center

Stephen Center's Permanent Supportive Housing offers affordable apartments with onsite case management for individuals and families transitioning from homelessness, providing a sober living community with wraparound services including healthcare, meals, and 24-hour staff support. Units range from single rooms to three-bedroom apartments, serving those with high barriers like mental health challenges and physical disabilities who need ongoing support to maintain housing stability.

Heartland Hope Mission is a faith-based organization commitment to serving the working poor with love and compassion.  In addition to providing food, clothing & hygiene items, we also provide services that promote self-sufficiency to help break the cycle of poverty and empower individuals and families to improve their lives.
